The Hudson Valley’s wineries follow in the tradition of winemaking established in the region more than 300 years ago, and include Brotherhood, America’s Oldest Winery. There are also many distilleries throughout the region including Dancing Cat Distillery, Tuthilltown Spirits and Orange County Distillery. The beautiful Bear Mountain State Park welcomes more visitors each year than Yellowstone National State Park, and it is perfect for lodging, hiking, biking, ice skating and cross-country skiing.
