The surgery department at Orange Regional Medical Group provides highly-skilled and experienced surgeons and a team of nurses and support professionals who are knowledgeable in providing pre and post-surgical care.  From pre-surgical testing, surgery and postoperative pain management to wound care, we offer convenient comprehensive services.

Hannah L. Brooks, M.D., FACS

Hannah L. Brooks, MD, FACS is Orange Regional Medical Group's Director of Breast Surgery and specializes in the management of breast disease and cancer. She works closely with patients in Orange Regional Medical Center’s Ray Moody, M.D. Breast Center.

Ajit Deol, M.D., FRCSC, FACS

Ajit Deol, MD, FRCSC, FACS has joined the medical staff of Orange Regional Medical Group as a Trauma Surgeon. He is Board-certified in surgery and surgical critical care.

Dr. Deol completed his medical training in India before relocating to Canada, where he began working in Orthopedic and Pediatric surgery until pursuing his surgical residency at Memorial University in Newfoundland, Canada. At the completion of his residency, he relocated to the United States where he completed his Trauma and Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Deol developed a Level II Trauma Center and created a successful trauma program verified by the American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma. Dr. Deol is a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine, East Trauma Society, Ontario Medical Society and British Columbia Society.


Michelle Fontaine, M.D. is an orthopedic surgeon at Orange Regional Medical Group

Michelle Fontaine, M.D.

Michelle Fontaine, M.D. joined the medical staff of Orange Regional Medical Group in 2015 and is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in surgery of the hand and upper extremity.

Gerard Galarneau, M.D.

Gerard Galarneau, M.D.

A Board-certified urologic surgeon, Dr. Galarneau has been an active Orange Regional Medical Center medical staff member since 2000. In July 2013, he was appointed as Chief Medical Officer and Chief Executive Officer of Catskill Regional Medical Center.

Eric L. Martin, M.D., FAAOS

Eric L. Martin, M.D., FAAOS

Dr. Martin, who is board certified in orthopedics by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons is also a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, joined the medical staff of Orange Regional Medical Group in 2015.

Paramjeet Singh, M.D., FACS is a skilled and talented member of Orange Regional Medical Group’s Department of Surgery.

Paramjeet Singh, M.D., FACS

Paramjeet Singh, M.D., FACS is a skilled and talented member of Orange Regional Medical Group’s Department of Surgery.  He has extensive training in  Hepato-Biliary Surgical Services, Surgical Oncology Services, as well as General Surgery.

Dr. Singh is a graduate of the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences where he received his medical degree and post graduate training.  He completed his internship and general surgery residency at New York Medical College/Montefiore North, followed by fellowships at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Hepatic Oncology and Mount Sinai with additional training in Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic surgery.  Dr. Singh has been widely published and recognized for his work in breast cancer and use of sentinel lymph node biopsy.

Dr. Singh belongs to the American College of Surgeons, Society of Surgical Oncology, Society of Critical Care Medicine, Medical Council of India, American Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association among others.


Dr. Cherry Song, DO, of the Trauma, Acute Care Surgery and Surgical Critical Care Team.

Dr. Cherry Song is Interim Trauma Medical Director at Orange Regional Medical CenterShe graduated from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences as a Doctor of Osteopathy and completed her general surgery residency at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. She subsequently completed an Acute Burn Surgical Critical Care fellowship at UTMB-Galveston, Texas in 2014 and a Trauma/Surgical Critical Care fellowship at UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY in 2015. For the past year, she stayed on staff as Clinical Instructor at UK Medical Center and was Co-Medical Director of Wound Care Center at UK Medical Center.
