Directions
We want the best experience for our patients when health emergencies occur. Orange Regional Medical Center’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is dedicated to treating our patients with the utmost compassion, providing specially-trained professionals to administer critical care.
Orange Regional encourages family members to meet with the ICU Team to better understand the care that is being provided to a loved one. We understand that you may have many questions, and we will do our best to address your questions and concerns, discuss treatment options and provide you the opportunity to meet our staff.
Complementary Therapy
Orange Regional offers Reiki Therapy as a Complementary Therapy to your recovery. Reiki Therapy is a natural approach to healing and wellness and aims to treat the whole person, not just the symptoms of an illness.
Patient Advocate
If you have any concerns related to any aspect of care during yours or a loved one’s hospital stay, speak to your doctor, nurse or any member of the ICU team. However, if you prefer to discuss your concerns with a third party, our patient advocates are available to help you.
Orange Regional’s Patient Advocate Program is designed to help patients resolve issues that emerge in interactions with our staff. The patient advocate’s role is to listen to concerns and explore possible courses of action for resolving an issue. Contact the Patient Advocate office by calling 845-333-1016.
Clergy Services
Clergy of all denominations visit Orange Regional regularly to provide support and spiritual comfort to you and our patients. If you have a religious advisor whom you would like to see, please ask your nurse to help you arrange a visit. For more information on our Pastoral Care Program, please call 845-333-1014.
