Outpatient Behavioral Health Center (for children and adolescents)
According to the American Medical Association Alliance (AMAA), one in five Americans under age 18 may have a behavioral emotional or mental health problem. At least one in 10, or as many as 6 million children and adolescents, may have a serious emotional disturbance that severely disrupts their ability to interact effectively with family, peers, and others in the community.
The Behavioral Health Center serves children and adolescents and is operated under the auspices Orange Regional's Behavioral Health Services, treating individuals with learning disabilities, behavior problems, mood disorders and related illnesses.
The Behavioral Health Center offers:
- a streamlined intake process
- a wider array of psychotherapies
- expert psychiatric evaluation
- medication management by a Board-certified Child & Adolescent psychiatrist
Available to patients of all ages needing regular psychiatric evaluation and follow-up. Commonly treated symptoms:
- anxiety and mood disorders
- psychiatric conditions associated with dementia or other neurological illness
